Melissa Gaspari is an Australian artist based in Sydney. She has an evolving conceptual practice that merges analogue with digital to express the ethereal unversality of experience through photography, installation and drawing. Her works explore questions of memory, universal experience, our relationship to space, feeling and time.
Melissa hasn’t always followed her artistic pursuits. Initially completing a Bachelor of Engineering Honours, majoring in Civil Engineering; she has spent time in industry, as project manager and designer manager eventually finding her other passion in Sustainability for the Real Estate and Property Sector. Melissa has a Diploma in Project Management, and Graduate Diploma in Energy Studies (Sustainability in urban places) and has undertaken detailed Life Cycle Assessment, Carbon Calculations and produced Environment, Social and Governance strategies for ASX-listed Real-estate, property and investment companies. She has passion for sustainability, engineering and art, hopes to find ways to fuse these together.
